| Federation President denies endorsing Trutanich |
However, the President of the United Federation of Planets denies that the group has endorsed any of the candidates running to replace Cooley as Los Angeles County District Attorney.
Okay, not exactly. But, according to the L.A. Times, he did falsely claim several real organizations had endorsed him, along with one non-existent group.
Hey, isn't there some kind of law about making false representations of material fact, and using others' names for publicity?

Wasn't this the same Trutanich who upon his last election said n words to the effect that "if elected he was going to save LA and never run again.?" Gee, what made this representative of the best in humanity change his mind?
ReplyDeleteMr. Trutanich was on the Peter Tilden Show, kabc, show last night, and he was complaining that he has no MONEY to pay all the lawsuits that come across his desk. Shall all of LA feel sorry for this man and vote for him for higher office, or not? Very sad.
ReplyDeleteNuchs' answer to his problem would be to contribute the maximum to Kevin James' mayoral campaign, and help elect KEVIN JAMES for Mayor of LA. Mayor Kevin James would then be in a position to help Trutanich, to once again, improve his batting average of protecting the city from law suits with no merit.
ReplyDeleteTrutanich squanders the city attorney budget on personal vendettas and protecting the wrongdoers. We thought that the role of the city attorney was to prosecute wrongdoers and not to waste city money on petty personal beefs. If it is illegal for a councilman to have the city workers come to his house and build a wall in his backyard, why isn't it illegal for the city attorney to use city money for his personal gripes?
